Throwback - Senator Harris' Ideas on Criminal Justice Reform

There is nothing like a good throwback to help gain better perspective on the present and reminisce over important moments. Here we feature some of the noteworthy and beguiling moments in Senator Lee Harris' journey to the race for Shelby County mayor.

2-1-18

Senator Harris went on Pod Save the People last year to talk about injustice in drug offender sentencing. Jump to 33:05 to hear Sen. Harris talk about why this disproportionately impacts poorer neighborhoods and his stance on criminal justice reform.
